ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The ISO 50000 series of standards deal with energy management systems. The basic and only standard that defines the requirements that an organization must meet in order to be certified is the standard EN ISO 50001:2011 Energy management systems – Requirements with guidance for use.
In addition to this standard, there is a whole set of standards that provide instructions, guidelines and a glossary of terms and definitions and help organizations when they decide to apply ISO 50001:2015.
